Design Map

About 90% of the time, you don't really need a rendering, and a design map showing the aerial expectation of the design at full growth, really covers what you're looking for. We hand draw maps and make them very easy to read so you know what is planted where. It saves you money as renderings take a lot more time, therefore the cost is higher. This way you can put more of your budget into plants. Design maps are delivered digitally only.

We are committed to constantly improving our business activities, to achieve the highest standards of environmental sustainability, by advocating and protecting our local habitats, from your yard to the Chesapeake Bay. From the very first visit, we are observing the environment and determining which efforts are needed to best preserve and support its living organisms, resources and long term growth. We suggest and install plants that best support those efforts, and remove invasive plants which have negative impact. Within our process, we minimize, sort, and properly dispose of waste through source reduction, re-use and recycling, and the collection and propagation of native seeds/seedlings/saplings in pursuit of environmental sustainability.

Estimate
To support our environmental commitments, hard (paper) copies of the estimate, agreement, insurance, and designs are provided by request only. Hard copies of designs may require associated printing fees. Green Steeze is not required to provide hard copies even if requested.

Custom Projects
Design fees are due in full before we can begin the design. Up to 3 changes can be requested after the design has been rendered. Full payment for all services must be received within 10 days of the completion of work, to avoid a late fee of $1.00 per day late. Green Steeze provides invoices via email. Payments can be made by credit card or check. Checks can be made out to Green Steeze, and mailed to PO Box 194, Gainesville, VA 20156. A $35 fee will be charged for returned checks.   

Images & Likeness
Stephanie (owner/designer) & team are trained to document the design/clean-up process, environmental info, & habitat examples for educational and portfolio demonstrations. We also participate in environmental registrations that may include information such as your address & species found within the landscape. The team is also instructed to provide images of certain projects, insects and animals to assist with local conservation monitoring efforts. These images are shared with the public, but never include identifying information such as your name, likeness, or anything that would violate your personal privacy. 

Upon payment, Client acknowledges having read and understood the terms of this agreement, and would like to proceed with the selected services above.
